My journey into fitness started when I broke a kneecap. During my recovery, I fell in love with exercising in a functional manner to better improve the mobility I have within my own body. Throughout my journey, I have found bodyweight and kettlebell exercises to be highly effective and much more enjoyable than conventional weight training.

Since 2014, when I became a personal trainer, I have helped others regain their ability to move freely and improve their posture, making them stronger and slimmer in the process. When you maintain good posture you have more energy, greater self-esteem and fewer injuries throughout life.

I am one of six Strong First Kettlebell Instructors in Scotland, and I am a European Champion at Girevoy Sport (Kettlebell Sport). As well as focusing on functional strength training, I am also a keen distance runner and have completed runs from 5km right up to ultramarathons of 100km, whilst balancing a busy work life and a young family.
